The Photoshop Tool Box

Using Adobe Photoshop is simple and easy if you know the tools required for a particular purpose. For example if you need to make a black face brighter, what do you do? There are two ways of doing so, either you take the help of the Photoshop Tools or you use the Color & Contrast correction techniques. I will write about both of them in this blog. You can see the Photoshop Tool Box on the right of this page. There are several tools designed to meet MANY requirements. The most frequently used are:

  • marquee tool
  • move tool
  • brush tool
  • clone stamp tool
  • eraser tool
  • blurr tool
  • sponge tool
  • type (text) tool
  • eyedropper tool
  • pan/zoom tool
  • QUICK MASK tool

Move your mouse over the different tools on the Tool Box on the right of the window and Click to Learn about each of them. Note their shortcut keys within the brackets eg: (V) to select Move Tool. These are the basic things on which you should have control. Earlier you do, more you progress. Ok I hope you will learn about all the tools in this blog.
